Time off requests are often made and approved weeks ahead of the actual date. As we all have busy lives and ever-changing plans, we often find ourselves available after all, but are not notified of shifts that have come up to be covered. I would like to be able to receive all notifications, even if I have been approved as having time off on that date. I would like to have to option of receiving notifications for all available shifts, regardless of time off designations. Sometimes it is possible to work around plans in order to help out a colleague who needs coverage of their shift.
Why should we implement this
As stated above, everyone could benefit from this optional notification and flexibility. |
