Why should we implement this
This will help shift supervisors/ admin/ managers be aware whether a staff member is at their scheduled shift. So the shift supervisor knows whether a shift has been missed. Assures that everything is on track. |
Perhaps a different way to think about this is to send a notification is an employee clocks in more than X minutes late... you could set the variable to be 30 minutes for example, and then you get a notification, so and so hasn't clocked in for their shift yet. Depends how many employees you have, but I would not want an email every time someone clocks in and out! I would love to know if someone didn't clock in when they were supposed to...
