I would like to recommend the flat rate/fixed salary. This is helpful considering having employees that work under a flat rate /fixed salary the labor cost should be adjusting according the hours worked or scheduled. In other words the hourly rate should be changing according the hours worked so as the final labor cost/salary will always sum up to the fixed salary determined. Without having this option the labor cost/salary is "wrongly" calculated. Not all companies/employees are working under your pre-specified formula of monthly salary or under an hourly rate. The option of a flat rate/fixed salary would benefit companies as mine.
Why should we implement this
Not all companies/employees are working under your pre-specified formula of monthly salary or under an hourly rate. The option of a flat rate/fixed salary would benefit companies as mine. This will more support the philosophy of Ximble of a less time consuming option. |
Christina might be worth adding your vote to the add "Salary to pay rate and calculate a standard salary regardless hours worked", as it's linked to the same issues as yours. Currently trying to get this issue prioritized by Ximble.
I agree with Christina. We have both salary and hourly paid workers, and want to track time for both. The current system means that a salary workers salary is broken down into an hourly rate, and as their is no cap, if they clock in under/over their contract hours their salary is calculated wrong. You can pull from the schedule, but that doesn't work very well, so currently having to add their salaries in manually after we've exported payroll report to excel. Please add a proper salary based system into Ximble, as it really would save a lot of time.
