On Nimble, I liked how when the whole day, 12am to 12am, was selected for availability preferences the cell would appear greyed out and NOT AVAILABLE would be auto-filled within the employee's row on the calendar. It was much faster to decide visually who could be assigned shifts and when.
Why should we implement this
We have a lot of On-call staff who have unpredictable schedules. It would help their supervisors and project managers see who was truly available and when quickly and clearly in our fast paced and ever changing work environment.
