Email alerts sent prior to close of payroll if managers have hours not yet approved.
1st alert - 48 hours before close, sent to managers with pending hours (Reminder: Payroll closes in 48 hours. You have employees with pending hours. Please approve now."
2nd alert - 24 hours before close, "" this time copy the manager's boss
Why should we implement this
To help managers ensure all employees are paid, in the case they forget or believe they approved employee hours (but did not). |
While we may not be changing our existing standalone time tracking solution, I would recommend exploring what our other time tracking products within Paycor suit can handle (https://www.paycor.com/time-attendance-software), so if you'd like to, I can connect you with one of our specialists to discuss further. Since I already have your contact information, then please just let me know if you'd like someone to reach out to you to discuss this need further.
Managers forget and there is no notification unless you log in which they don't necessarily have to do as we set up the automated approvals (which is great), so now there are times when they don't log in daily especially where there are small teams that they can see are physically arrived. An email would be extremely helpful to reduce payroll followups and subsequent adjustments to pay that are required.
Please reconsider adding automated email notifications for unapproved timesheet entries.
