Being that the only 'repeat' option when creating a template in Ximble is for consecutive days in a row, there no longer is a use for to display by day # vs actual day of the week Can the templates please just be set up to display days of the week? Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, etc...
Why should we implement this
This would make Templates more straight forward and easier to set up. |
Currently the template feature allows you to save it just for a couple of days, or just for one day, or other similar options. When applying a template, the system also allows a selection of the date when to start applying a template. So, the template does not necessarily always reflect a week, or even a week starting from a certain day, which makes it a bit problematic to label days on the template, rather than to just count specific days.
Happy to discuss this further, if it's definitely a necessary adjustment.
This post has intriguing details, I wish this tunnel rush website will improve

Thank you for the response.
An example to better explain our situation -
To save time, we create our templates to be 4 weeks long. So for an
employee who works a regular Monday through Friday schedule, we create a
shift on day #2 (being Monday), and then repeat it x26 days. But then we
need to go back and delete day 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, and 22 as those are
Saturday and Sundays. And if by chance I miss one of those days to delete,
it causes all sorts of problems when the schedules are released.
It would just be a lot faster if we could simply select the days of the
week and then repeat it x 4 weeks. Click save and be done.
