Part-time workers typically work specific hours on specific days. If this could be pre-set, then when submitting a leave request Ximble automatically takes these pre-set hours into account. For example, if an individual works 6 hours on a Tuesday, but 8 hours on other days, then this could be pre-set. At the moment this needs to be accounted for manually.
Why should we implement this
Ensures leave balance is accurate and removes manual work-arounds to account for part-time hours. I expect that this use-case is not unusual as many organisations hire permanent part-time workers. |
