Allow some employees to clock in/out anytime & restrict hourly employees to clock-in only for scheduled shifts
Why should we implement this
we have some employees (mostly interns) who work part-time when their schedule allows (often changes week to week). When they can come into work, they do... other employees are scheduled & must stick to their shifts. it would be VERY convenient to be able to assign restrictions for clock ins per employee. Right now I ask the unscheduled interns to email me as soon as they arrive & ill clock them in manually & ask that they clock themselves out. However, this happens 2/10 times & i end up chasing down about 6 people every payroll run to ask what hours they worked. |
