We would like to see a "preferred off" or "if need be" feature when staff submit availability. This would allow staff to indicate times that they would like to hold from work shifts but can be called upon if there are not other options.
Why should we implement this
When we added this option to our previous scheduling we found more staff opened up availability for us and it relieved scheduling issues. It will allow employers more options when scheduling while maintaining staff's ability to hold time for other commitments. |
