We allow employees flexible hours - they can work 8 hrs (less a lunch break) any time within the range of 7.30am and 5pm. I'd like to be able to set those hours so that employees cannot clock in or out outside of core hours (maybe with a 30 min window on either end with a warning they are logging in or out of standard hours - if that warning was customizable even better). At the moment Ximble only allows that to happen to specific shifts (which we don't use). Setting up shifts for regular full time employees creates extra work
Why should we implement this
This would make the use of Ximble consistent for those using shifts and those users that do not. It would provide greater consistency with business rules too - most businesses have specific start and stop hours, and with the increase in work from hoem, it would mean greater control over those that are not in the office |
