This is useful for the whole company. We've run into many issues where an adjustment to PTO needs to be made, but due to all of the rules and restrictions, neither the manager or the admin has the ability to make these adjustments. Instead, we are told to do a "word-around". There are so many work-arounds to remember that it makes it difficult to maneuver through the weekly payroll process. Having complete control over adjustments of timesheets, requests, and balances would alleviate an infinite number of related issues.
Why should we implement this
You should implement this because it's a necessary feature to make each week of payroll processing run smoothly, quickly, and efficiently. We are not efficient right now, as we are currently spending far too many hours per week on requests, timesheets, PTO balances, and payroll in general. We need to cut down on that time to make more time for other job responsibilities.
