Admins having full control over making PTO edits when necessary. No more work-arounds!

This is useful for the whole company. We've run into many issues where an adjustment to PTO needs to be made, but due to all of the rules and restrictions, neither the manager or the admin has the ability to make these adjustments. Instead, we are told to do a "word-around". There are so many work-arounds to remember that it makes it difficult to maneuver through the weekly payroll process. Having complete control over adjustments of timesheets, requests, and balances would alleviate an infinite number of related issues.

Why should we implement this

You should implement this because it's a necessary feature to make each week of payroll processing run smoothly, quickly, and efficiently. We are not efficient right now, as we are currently spending far too many hours per week on requests, timesheets, PTO balances, and payroll in general. We need to cut down on that time to make more time for other job responsibilities.

    PLEASE! This is essential and makes Paycor as a company fall short when you yourselves cannot even delete these. I wanted to adjust a time off from 3 hours to 3.5 as an employee showed up earlier than expected and I was told i would have to make notes in the approved time off request, manually adjust the time for that person so it is recorded correctly. This also still did not solve issues for payroll as it still shows the approved time off to be 3.5 hours and I was told to create a shift but could not because the existing approved time off request was inputted. the one no one can delete or adjust... Paycor should at least be allowed to make these changes. 

     

    When you affect payroll you make a company question if this is the right system for them to use. No one wants to manually track each employees time off requests and adjustments. A system should do so and give the user the flexibility to make these adjustments.

    Erika & I work at the same company.  We recently ran into this issue yet again.  Our company is consistently growing & we're finding that this feature is needed even more.  I'm shocked to see that we suggested this idea back in 2018 and it has yet to be implemented!  If Ximble would like to remain competitive and keep current clients happy, they really should work on making the necessary changes for their system to work flawlessly.  As it is now, we could possibly be missing some PTO errors & it's just not feasible for us to have to audit each PTO log for all our employees.  Ximble/Paycor, please do make this change so that we the employer & our employees can feel confident in what your system reports for PTO usage.  Thank-you

    Couldn't agree more!!! This is so necessary! Definitely need to be able to edit a PTO amount (in the past or not) and use Ximble as a record of entry. If it is not correct, and cannot be updated, I might as well go back to using a spreadsheet to keep track of PTO hours.
